- Account: your email address, and an optional display name and avatar.
- Taste: the genres and preferred streaming platform you choose.
- Artist submissions: the track links and related details you submit to promote.
- Support: anything you send us when you contact us.
2. Information we collect automatically
- Activity: tracks you play, listens that qualify for earning, saves, passes, campaigns, token balance and ledger entries.
- Device signals: a privacy-preserving device signal used to fairly grant and protect the one-time starter tokens and to prevent abuse.
- Technical data: basic log and session information needed to operate the service securely.
3. How we use your information
- Provide discovery, earning, library, and promotion features.
- Operate the token economy and keep an accurate balance and ledger.
- Protect against fraud, automated abuse, and manipulation of listens or campaigns.
- Send transactional messages (login codes, password links, a welcome email).
- Improve and maintain the service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run mixuvr, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Payments: Korapay processes token purchases. We do not store full card details.
- Email: Resend delivers our transactional and welcome emails.
- Infrastructure: hosting (Netlify), database (Neon), and caching (Upstash) providers store and process data on our behalf.
- Streaming: playback uses Spotify and Apple Music embeds and links; interacting with them is subject to their privacy policies.
- Legal: where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of mixuvr and its users.
5. Cookies and sessions
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records, such as financial ledger entries, may be retained longer where required for accounting, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes, in a form that limits identification.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update your taste, platform, display name, and password from your profile. You can delete your account at any time from profile settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact info@mixuvr.com.
8. Account deletion
When you delete your account, we stop any active campaigns, remove or anonymize your personal information (including scrubbing your email, name, and avatar), delete your saved tracks and taste, and sign you out everywhere. Anonymized, non-identifying records may remain in our ledger to preserve the integrity of the token economy.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to issues.
10. Children
mixuvr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International transfers
We and our providers may process your information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your information remains protected consistent with this policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
