1. About mixuvr
mixuvr ("mixuvr", "we", "us") is a music discovery and promotion platform. Listeners discover new tracks tuned to their taste and earn tokens by genuinely listening; artists spend tokens to place their music into discovery. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and mixuvr.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use mixuvr, and old enough to form a binding contract in your country. If you use mixuvr on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email using a one-time code, and may optionally set a password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and account secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at info@mixuvr.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. How the service works
Discovery presents tracks for you to play, save, or pass. When you genuinely listen to a track, you may earn tokens. As an artist, you can submit a track and allocate tokens to a campaign that places it into other listeners' discovery feeds. Full tracks are played through third-party services such as Spotify and Apple Music; mixuvr does not host or stream the underlying recordings.
5. Tokens
Tokens (◆) are a promotion credit used only inside mixuvr. They are not money, not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value. Tokens are not redeemable, cashable, or transferable, and cannot be exchanged for currency.
- You may earn tokens through genuine listening, receive a starter grant when you join, and purchase additional tokens as top-ups.
- Tokens spent on a campaign are consumed as your track is delivered to listeners. Unspent tokens from a stopped or expired campaign return to your balance.
- We may adjust earning rates, grant amounts, caps, and pricing over time, and may reverse or withhold tokens obtained through fraud, automation, or abuse.
- Purchases are generally final. Except where required by law, token purchases are non-refundable.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, emulators, or any automated means to inflate listens, earn tokens, or manipulate discovery or campaign metrics.
- Create multiple or fake accounts, or otherwise abuse starter grants or anti-fraud controls.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
- Submit content you do not have the rights to promote, or content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.
- Resell, rent, or commercialize access to mixuvr without our permission.
7. Artist content and rights
If you submit a track, you represent that you own or control all rights necessary to promote it, including any rights of featured artists, producers, and rights-holders. You remain responsible for your content. You grant mixuvr a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display its metadata and artwork and to surface it within discovery and promotion features for as long as your campaign or content is active.
8. Third-party services
mixuvr relies on third parties including streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music), payment processing (Korapay), email delivery, and hosting and database providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Payments
Token top-ups are processed by our payment partner. Prices are shown at checkout and may be denominated in Nigerian Naira (NGN). You are responsible for any taxes that apply. mixuvr does not store full card details; payment information is handled by the processor.
10. Intellectual property
The mixuvr name, brand, interface, and software are owned by mixuvr and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks without prior written permission.
11. Termination and deletion
You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings; deletion removes your personal information and signs you out everywhere, and active campaigns are stopped first. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. Tokens have no cash value and are not refunded on termination.
12. Disclaimers
mixuvr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular level of reach, listens, plays, or results from promotion.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, mixuvr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or a nominal sum permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold mixuvr harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of mixuvr after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be subject to the courts located in Nigeria, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
